On Letting the Old Paradigm go.

On Letting the Old Paradigm go.

Margherita (Meg) Pagani

In one of my spoken word pieces I shared:

the old paradigm isn’t crumbling. We are.

I see paradigms as agreed-upon architectures. Structures that we build around what we consider valuable, and based on how we relate — to reality, to each other, and to ourselves.

And that is deeply shifting.

The way we see and relate to resources.
The way we see and relate to nature.
The way we see and relate to ideas of “success” and “wealth”.
Technology.
Access to information.
Jobs, careers and meaning.
Politics, and global leadership.
Relationships.

Even the ability to focus and pay (real) attention, instead of feeling in a constant wrestle with devices and dopamine-addictive mechanisms — is reaching its peak.

It’s not a paradigm that is crumbling. It’s us.

And that’s both the bad news and the good news.

It’s bad news because, of course — it’s challenging. Disorienting. Upsetting.

But it’s good news because anyone who’s gone through deep healing can tell us that ending of paradigms can be navigated, and that there is life on the other side.

And I think there’s much we can learn from that.

Hi dear, yes — I'm moving my publication to Substack.

I'm craving a more ecosystem-like space for my publication — and Substack is the platform that feels the most resonant right now.

Nothing changes for you :) this coming week I'll import the subscribers list to Substack, and you will receive my emails in your inbox as you always did.

Thank you for being here! And excited about what comes next.

With love,
~M*
